Canon EOS 5Ds photos. part4

"HDR Mode" is very useful if you like to take a photo against sun or scenery with clouded sky.
My camera, EOS 50D doesn't have this HDR function, so I have been all the time fiddle with shutter speed and focus point to take a photo of sky.
However, I believe this HDR mode will easily let you take photo which includes clouds.

This is fantastic to control dynamic range as up to plus minus three.

This part is not different from 50D's. 

Picture Style menu is one of reasons I wanted to check because you need to open each "Style" to the level of contrast or other control in EOS 50D. 

I didn't pay attention till I see this section, 5Ds's has huge improvements on this section. As you can see when you see each "Style", you are able to check the details of each "Style".

I will keep posting  photos of EOS 5Ds's menu.

I saw 5Ds R next to 5Ds but didn't have enough time to take photos so forgive me the inconvenience if you look for 5Ds R.

This part allows you to modify ISO speed settings. This is useful while you take cloudy or the sunset period because you don't need to worry about level of noise on images much. 

In addition, 5D mark III can be controlled between  100 - 25600, which can be extended to 102400.

5Ds is 100 - 6400, and extended to 12800. 

Auto Lighting Optimizer. 

White balance

I usually choose AWB as auto white balance but I use SUN, second form the right because the collor is very natural. If I can not decide what color I wand exactly, then I will choose RAW first, and let me have a control of white balance. 

This part is about manual control of white balance. 

Canon EOS 5Ds photos.

Last Friday evening, I had a chance to visit the CANON Nagoya to have a look Canon EOS 5Ds, which is far better camera than 50D currently I use.

I have spent some times to take photo of EOS 5Ds at the CANON Nagoya, so I would like to share some with you.

These photo I have taken may be different from actual 5Ds which will be sold on the market in your area.

These buttons above of the LCD, little bit tighter than my 50

D's buttons to press. each. 

Let's choose English view on 5Ds. I know this is one of major problems, if non- English speakers wish to buy EOS digital camera in Japan because they will be forced to use English language menu. 

To begin with the first menu trees. You may be familiar to use this menu so you can change to RAW photography image quality. 

This view is the details of Image quality menu. 

This is one of my favorites functions which arrows you to contoroll exposure From -3 to +3. This is fantastic.

An adapter is for Canon EOS EF lenses attached to Nikon1 body

I have had an ordinary photography life taking landscape with Canon EOS 50D since I bought it.

I am happy with the quality of Canon image, however, I found an adapter which allows Canon lenses attached to Nikon1 body.

You may or may not know Nikon1 camera system is one of kinds, which doesn't have a mirror on itself so it basically uses contrast focusing system. It works fine for my use. It has a great time-laps functionality so I can take time-laps photo very easy.

Anyway, I hope I can introduce the adapter with my Canon lenses and Nikon1 body.
